This choice reflects a company strategy based on a business model focused on highest sustainability, extending from the traditional attention to energy efficiency and reduced environmental impact of the product, to the whole manufacturing process.

ISO 14001 means, above all, systematic implementation of explicit projects to reduce the environmental impact of the company globally.

Attention to noise emissions has always been crucial, both as concerns the products, as well as the industrial process. Noise emissions are minimized and kept well below the levels set by the regulations, making our operations extremely sustainable also from this point of view.

ISO 14001 certification is also implemented through plant and office building insulation, and through the recovery of heat generated by tests and the industrial process, in order to heat the buildings, thus dramatically reducing the energy consumption of the operations of the group.

For Climaveneta and RC, as brands of Mitsubishi Electric Hydronic & IT Cooling Systems S.p.A., Safety is a core element of the organizational culture, proven by the OHSAS 18001 certification obtained in June 2015 and by the BBS - Behaviour Based Safety – project, gradually extended to all our establishments.

Mitsubishi Electric Hydronic & IT Cooling Systems S.p.A has introduced in its factories the BBS method (Behaviour Based Safety), a scientific approach that has the aim to significantly reduce the chances of injury for workers.

The method was developed in the late 1970s in the USA it is distinguished for the effectiveness of the results and for the obtaining of a more positive and productive work environment. The method is perfectly integrated with the OHSAS 18001 management system and is based on the principle that more than 80% of workplace injuries are caused by unsafe behaviors. Studying these behaviors and reinforcing correct ones with positive feedback can create a safer environment.

This approach considers a very limited use of formal sanction against workers, only for those risk behaviors that threaten the life of their own and their colleagues. This is because it has been experimentally shown that any sanctioning system can inhibit risk behaviors - if implemented with the utmost strictness - however, without guarantee of effectiveness over time and, above all, without replacing those dangerous behaviors with correct behaviors.
