A modern hotel close to the ancient city

The renovation of the historic Hotel del Rosario in Pompeii, closed for more than 20 years, is about to be completed. Its’ new name is Habita.79, a modern 4-star superior hotel with over 300 beds, will be soon able to accommodate the numerous tourists who visit the adjacent city of Pompeii every day.

The building consists of 4 above ground floors of approximately 1,200 m² each and a basement floor. In addition to the rooms, the building is comprised of: a lobby, a conference area with two conference rooms of 100 seats each, a spa and fitness area, a 200-seat multifunctional lounge with its own kitchen, and a 150-seat bistro restaurant. As rich ground water passes through Pompeii with a constant temperature of 15°, the HVAC plant designer decided to use it as a thermal buffer for the heat pumps: 2 ERACS2-WQ/S 1002 multi-purpose units, Climaveneta branded. ClimaPRO by Climaveneta is the managing system able to control multi-purpose units modifying their set point according to the system needs.

opens doors to the City

Recently opened the fully refurbished historic building, situated Via Santa Croce 19 in Milan: through public meetings, debates, exhibitions, the new EMERGENCY HOUSE will be an open space for the city to promote a culture of peace and rights. The building, built in the first half of the 1900s, covers an area of about 2,600 sqm, and before the intervention, was in a precarious preservation status. At EMERGENCY HOUSE, the internal comfort is granted by two NECS WQ 0412 multi-purpose heat pumps Climaveneta branded. These units can simultaneously produce hot and cold water, ensuring optimum comfort throughout the year.

Moving from heat waste to heat recovery

Climaveneta heat pumps are an efficient solution for district heating. In these plants, a network of insulated pipes delivers hot and cold water from one or more centralized generation sites to the nearby users. Usually the consumers are residential and commercial users, and the hot water, which is meant to cover both space heating and domestic hot water demands, is supplied at a very high temperature; however, lowering the water temperature can lead to further benefits. A good example of how it is actively possible to move towards low-carbon district heating is using the heat waste of a data center.
